VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for a correctional facility in Winfield, Kansas. The LPN will deliver care within the nursing scope, administer medications, and monitor patients under supervision of healthcare leadership.

Full-time 12-hour shifts with day and night options. Requires LPN license in the state and active BLS, with ongoing credential maintenance and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
Possesses an active BLS certification.
Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
Completes initial and annual clinical competencies as required.

Responsibilities

Administer medications to patients.
Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff.
Document actions in MAR and medical records.
Provide care within LPN scope of practice and assist with patient teaching.
