Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an LPN to work with a concierge physician, delivering primary care services for corporate clients. You will assist with clinical and administrative duties, document patient assessments in the EMR, perform injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy, and help maintain efficient patient flow in a high-visibility setting.

The role requires an LPN with 2+ years in primary care, current BLS, and state nursing licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required plus graduation from a formal LPN training program.
• 2+ years of experience preferred as an LPN, ideally in primary care.
• Current BLS certification and nursing license to practice in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Support physician in clinical and administrative functions.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and report findings to physician.
• Record patient’s assessments into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests; coordinate with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Assist with medical procedures and use diagnostic/therapeutic equipment (e.g., O2 therapy, EKG).
• Keep exam rooms clean, disinfected and stocked with supplies for examinations.
• Maintain patient flow according scheduling and manage incoming/outgoing calls.
• Coordinate specialist visits, referrals, and other care outside the clinic.
• Retrieve messages and respond to calls from patients, pharmacies, and other medical offices as delegated.
• Fulfill medical record requests and abstraction.
• Make the medical visit a positive and supportive experience for each patient.
