Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a nursing program from an accredited school.
• LPN license in Indiana, current; BCLS/CPR certification kept up to date.
• At least one year of related nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with providing patient care: records vital signs, discusses chief health concerns, performs tests, administers injections.
• Checks rooms for supplies, prepares equipment and assists physician during treatment and testing.
• Maintains patient flow, schedules testing and referrals, and instructs patients on testing instructions.
• Documents results, informs patients of findings, and records communications with patients.
• Assists with medication and ordering processes under physician supervision.
