Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join a compassionate Florida team, offering 12-hour shifts on a full-time or part-time basis. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, administer medications, monitor vitals, and document care in EMR.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with EMRs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician or RN.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Communicate care plans with patients and families.
• Document visits and treatment plans in EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as RNs, physicians, and therapists.
• Complete patient assessments, coordination of care.
• Identify and report changes in residents' condition to RN.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
