SWLA CENTER FOR HEALTH SERVICES seeks an LPN to join the Nursing Support team. You will participate in direct patient care, assist physicians, collect information, prepare exam rooms, and support total patient care under supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualifications include graduation from practical nursing program, Louisiana LPN licensure, BLS/IV certification, and ability to maintain professional image and accurate documentation in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate and completion of Practical Nursing program.
• Current Louisiana LPN license and BLS/IV certification.
• Competency exam passed and ability to maintain professional image.
• Ability to complete paperwork with proper grammar and clarity.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and minimize waiting time in the exam area.
• Collect information to assist physician in care and evaluation.
• Assist with procedures, administer medications within scope, and draw labs.
• Interpret physician instructions to patients and families.
• Arrange follow-up care and reschedule no-show patients.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Participate in training and health promotion activities.
• Perform additional duties as prescribed by leadership.
• Support quality health services and assist clinic operations.
