Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support providers in a clinic setting. The role focuses on patient care, rooming, and coordination of follow-up visits within an outpatient environment.

Responsibilities include administering therapies, charting in the EMR, assisting with procedures, and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and ready. Current LPN licensure and BLS are required; two years of clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing approved LPN program.
• Two years clinic LPN experience (preferred)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or RN.
• Administers therapies and schedules follow-up visits or other support
• Rooms patients and manages patient flow; records vitals and data in the medical record
• Receives or initiates patient calls and coordinates appointments
• Performs clinical functions within license scope as ordered by physician
• Cleans, restocks, and prepares exam rooms and supplies
