Job Summary / Purpose

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) reports to the Manager. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the LPN provides individualized, goal‑directed, and family‑centered patient care. The LPN demonstrates proficiency according to the laws governing nursing in South Carolina, delivers safe and effective care, and collaborates with the health‑care team to achieve desired outcomes.

Minimum Training and Education

• Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.• Minimum six months experience as an LPN.• Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.• Current CPR card (American Heart Association BLS or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer).• Demonstrated commitment to patient‑centered care, effective communication, and professionalism.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking continuously.

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted; lift/lower objects 50 lbs. from floor or 36 inches.
• Ability to maintain adequate vision, hearing, and sensory functions.
