Formación

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current and valid LPN license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience is a plus.
• Compassionate, and genuinely enjoys working with seniors.

Responsabilidades

• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Participate in care planning and collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in resident condition, diagnostic results, and other clinical concerns
• Supervise and provide direction to CNAs and oversee resident activities of daily living and documentation
• Monitor residents and ensure care is provided according to their individual care plans
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, medications, and care in accordance with company policies and standards of practice
• Educate residents and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, medications, and other healthcare needs
• Complete required clinical documentation and forms in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations
• Promote resident safety, dignity, privacy, and quality of life
