Job summary

Northside Hospital, Inc. is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in compliance with hospital policies.

LPNs participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and work under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area. Required: graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, Georgia LPN licensure, and American Heart Association BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• One (1) year of experience as an LPN.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital.
• LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
