Job summary

Hallkeen-Assisted-Living-Communities in New Hampshire is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist the Resident Care Director with the implementation, delivery and coordination of Resident Care services at the Community. The nurse will help craft plans of care, coordinate resident care, document files according to state regulations, and monitor the community’s medication management program.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as LPN in NH.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current resident care plans for all residents.
• Mentor and supervise nursing staff.
• Follow and transcribe physician orders.
• Review resident records for accuracy and completeness.
• Document nursing notes and report significant findings.
• Administer medications per procedure.
• Maintain safe control of drugs.
• Initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
