Job summary

Imperial Health in Lake Charles, LA seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care under physician supervision. You will support clinical operations, assist with patient flow, and keep the exam environment safe and organized.

You will collect vital signs, start IVs for procedures, monitor heart rate, administer medications, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a State Practical Nurse per TLS requirements.
• Ability to document and transcribe clinical information accurately.
• Experience with clinical procedures and patient assessments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Record vital signs and review patient history.
• Set up ECG monitoring and start IVs as needed.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatments.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control.
