Job summary

Psych Health Associates seeks an LPN Behavioral Health Technician in Palm Harbor, FL. Full-time position providing behavioral health support in skilled nursing facilities, performing screenings (PHQ-9, BIMS) and assisting psychiatric providers.

You will collaborate with facility nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely care, maintain regulatory compliance, and support patient-centered care planning. Requires active LPN license and experience in geriatrics or behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, behavioral health preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced facility.
• Knowledge of PHQ-9, BIMS, and screening tools (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Behavioral health screening & assessment using PHQ-9, BIMS, and other tools.
• Support psychiatric providers with history, symptoms and observations before evaluations.
• Monitor medication effects and mood changes; participate in care planning.
• Ensure regulatory timelines and compliant documentation.
