TITLE: Assisted Living Nurse
REPORTS TO: Clinical Nuse Supervisor
Job Summary: The role of the nurse is to ensure that the health and safety of all residents are met through facilities clinical staff. The nurse will maintain facility compliance with current regulations and standards under the direction of clinical nurse supervisor. Must be able to relate professionally with residents, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members. Must be engaged in direct resident care.
Qualifications: Must be registered and licensed with the State of Minnesota as an LPN and must maintain licensure. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have working knowledge of long-term care services, rules and regulations to 144G Assisted Living Licensure. Must have the ability to travel to other MCHS owned and managed locations The Assisted Living Nurse must have basic computer skills and the ability to use electronic health records appropriately. Must have excellent judgement and decision-making ability and problem solving skills. The Nurse is also required to have an ability to read, write and speak English, and complete and pass a state required background study form which checks for certain criminal convictions or serious/recurring maltreatment.
