Job summary

Lake Port Square, an upscale senior living community in Leesburg, FL, is recruiting a hospitality-focused LPN (PRN) to join our Assisted Living team. The role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises CNA staff.

Daily duties include assisting with ADLs, monitoring medical/behavioral changes, and reporting to the Director of Clinical Services. You will follow physician orders, ensure quality care, and coordinate with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license valid in Florida.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Willingness to be available for any emergencies regarding the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and promote independence.
• Identify medical/behavioral changes and develop/reassess care plans.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Clinical Services on conditions and needs.
• Provide nursing care per physician orders and standards.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive services.

Lake Port Square is recruiting for a hospitality focused LPN (PRN) to join our Assisted Living team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our C.N.A.'s.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Clinical Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
