Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Women's Health in Allentown, PA. This is a 13-week contract position with a Day Shift from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, offering hands-on patient care in an office-based clinic setting.

You will administer medications, perform clinical tasks, document in EPIC, and support care coordination and patient education. Required: PA LPN license, BLS, 1–2 years in women's health; flu vaccination and Hep B immunity documentation.

Qualifications

• Active PA LPN license required.
• 1–2 years' experience in an office-based women's health clinic.
• BLS certification required.
• Proof of flu vaccination and Hep B antibody/documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including medications and clinical tasks.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and care coordination.
• Perform Non Stress Tests (NST) as part of women's health services.
• Attend quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical competencies annually.
• Support patient education with current materials.
• Assist in administrative tasks to support operations and patient care.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care in accordance with the Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse Scope of Practice, with a focus on women's health. The role requires active participation in care coordination, quality improvement initiatives, and seamless communication across settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications and performing clinical tasks.
• Utilize electronic medical records system (EPIC) for documentation and care coordination.
• Conduct Non Stress Tests (NST) as part of women's health services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate clinical competencies annually.
• Assist in patient education, ensuring materials are current and effective.
• Manage administrative functions to support clinical operations and patient care delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards regarding patient information.

Required Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in an office-based medical clinic for women's health.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proof of FLU vaccination and completed Hep B series with positive antibody documentation required.
