Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice and support facility needs.

The role offers pay of $37-$39 per hour, per diem schedule, weekly pay, and flexible shifts with local Staffing Coordinators available. Local applicants only; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD test within the last year required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
