Job summary

Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT, is seeking an LPN to support nursing care under the supervision of an RN. You will record patient information, monitor conditions, and administer IM and oral medications as prescribed.

This role offers opportunities to grow clinically in a patient-centered setting and requires solid documentation skills and teamwork with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Requires active LPN license in CT.
• Experience in med administration under RN supervision preferred.
• Ability to document patient status accurately.

Main Function:Provide and/or assist in nursing care of patients under the supervision of an R.N. Record patient information regarding patient’s condition, and report unusual findings to responsible R.N. Administer IM and oral medications, pharmacy prepared I.V. meds.
