Job summary

PARKVIEW CARE CENTER in Denver, CO is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to deliver direct patient care under physician orders and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting. You will work with RNs and physicians to ensure high-quality resident care within state guidelines.

The role includes an $2,000 sign-on bonus, an 8-hour shift, and a comp plan. Requirements include Colorado LPN licensure, CPR, and prior long-term care experience. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current Colorado LPN license (active).
• CPR certification current.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents and monitors health status.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Participates in care planning with the team.
• Supervises LPNs and CNAs.
• Communicates changes in residents' conditions with physicians.
• Documents assessments and care per policies and regulations.
• Educates residents and families on health topics.
