Job summary

Berkshire County Arc, Inc. is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to support individuals in Westfield, MA. The role is part-time hourly with evening shifts and weekend coverage as described.

Responsibilities include coordinating medical supports, basic nursing care, and collaboration with program staff. A 2-year degree and LPN licensure with clinical experience are required, with two years in developmental disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience.
• At least two years working in the field of developmental disabilities preferred.

• Serve as primary contact person and coordinator of medical supports for all assigned individuals.
• Perform medical treatment when necessary, i.e. temperatures, blood pressures, etc.
• Consult with program staff on specific medical interventions, techniques and documentation requirements.
• Make referrals for appropriate health care and dental needs if applicable.
• Perform on-call responsibilities, as assigned by the Director of Nursing services
