Bronx Park Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our in-person care team. You will follow care plans, administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
The role requires lifting and transferring patients safely and providing acute care as needed. Responsibilities include vital signs, specimen collection, post-procedure care, and assistance with cardiac catheterization when applicable.
- Valid LPN license in the state of Florida
- Proficient in suture removal techniques
- Knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment
- Experience in infant care and knowledge of developmental milestones
- Competent in airway management techniques and CPR certification
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Understanding of ophthalmology procedures and post-operative care requirements
- Ability to safely lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics
- Experience in acute care settings, including monitoring patients' conditions and responding to emergencies
- Proficiency in administering tube feedings and monitoring nutritional status
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure care
