Job summary

Gulfport Nursing Center, a 118-bed skilled nursing facility in South Pasadena, FL, seeks a compassionate LPN to deliver high-quality patient care and support our interdisciplinary team.

You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and assist with care planning while maintaining accurate records and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Shifts include 3PM-11PM and 11PM-7AM, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) with Florida license or Compact license
• Experience or familiarity caring for elderly residents
• Proficiency in English and good communication skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote best practices and improve patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
