Job summary

Park Place Health and Rehab Center in Oklahoma City is seeking an energetic nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team. Provide routine nursing care with compassion, administer medications, take vitals, and coordinate with physicians to ensure resident safety and well-being.

The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and current BLS CPR are required. The role emphasizes bedside care, documentation, and collaboration with families and care teams in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered LPN or RN license in Oklahoma.
• Must have a current BLS CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.
• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Ensure the residents’ chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions; notify appropriate parties.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents.
• Keep residents’ family and physician informed of changes.
• Modify residents’ care plan in conjunction with condition changes.

Position Description:

Park Place Health and Rehab is searching for motivated, compassionate individuals to join our team. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide Residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies as may be directed by your supervisors.

As a nurse, you are the backbone of a strong clinical culture. The Licensed Nurse (LPN or RN) will help fulfill the care requirements of their patients and will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Provide bedside care.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.
• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Ensure the residents’ chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions. Notify appropriate parties of residents’ change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess the condition of residents.
• Keep residents’ family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health.
• Modify residents’ care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Nurse Aide flow sheets in conjunction with residents’ changes in condition.

Desired Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Oklahoma Registered Nurse License (RN)

Must have a current BLS CPR card
