Job summary

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at New Wilmington is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under physician orders in a collaborative team with RNs. A 3:00pm–11:00pm shift is available, with a $3,500 sign-on bonus for joining this dedicated community.

Responsibilities include administering meds, participating in care planning, supervising CNAs, and communicating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State licensure as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.

Job Description

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides care and treatment in accordance with physician orders. Works in a team environment and within scope of practice as defined by State. The LPN works under the direction of physicians and registered nurses (RNs).

Job Responsibilities

• Assesses patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Participates in the care planning process.
• Supervises certified nursing assistants.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident's conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Shift

• 3:00pm - 11pm (Fri, Sat & Sun or Sat, Sun & Mon)

Education and Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State licensure as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
