Job summary

Aspirus, Inc. is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its team at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital & Clinics in Laurium, Michigan. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care and assist in developing care plans while working closely with a dedicated healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited LPN program, possess an active Michigan Practical Nurse License, and ideally have previous experience in an acute care environment. Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Previous work experience in an acute care setting or nursing home beneficial.
• Active Michigan Practical Nurse License.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license required for Home Health & Hospice.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist with patient data collection.
• Develop care plans as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Serve patients in various settings, including home health and hospice.

Role

As a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE with Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital & Clinics you provide basic nursing care, assist with collection of patient data and developing care plans.

Experience/Licensure/Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Previous work experience in an acute care setting or nursing home beneficial.
• Active Michigan Practical Nurse License.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• For Home Health & Hospice:
  • Valid driver\'s license required.
  • Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.
