Galleria Woods is a premier retirement community in Hoover, Alabama, and we’re looking for extraordinary LPNs to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your clinical and hospitality skills in our 24-bed Assisted Living Nursing Unit. We offer a great teamwork environment and supportive management. Shift Details

Part-Time Day Shift: 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. every other first and third weekend.

PRN Day/Evenings/Nights

Required Skills And Qualifications

LPN currently licensed by the State of Alabama.

At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably with geriatric involvement.

Your Responsibilities

Administer medications.

Provide treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.

Assist in direct resident care as necessary.

Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.

Assist in admission and discharge procedures.

Respond to resident emergency call systems as indicated.

Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.

Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents’ conditions.

Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.

Ensure continuity of services and care.

Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.

Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
