Thornton Care Center in Denver, CO is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care under physician orders. The LPN will work within a team and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards to deliver high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, care planning participation, and documenting care per policy.

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides care and treatment in accordance with physician orders. Works in a team environment and within scope of practice as defined by State. The LPN works under the direction of physicians and registered nurses (RNs). The primary responsibilities of your role in your assigned location is to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and skilled nursing facilities. You are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care will always be provided to our residents.
Experience: One-year experience in a long-term care environment (preferred)
License: Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in Colorado, CPR Certification
