DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a detail-oriented administrative/surgical support specialist to help keep a busy dermatology office running smoothly in Dayton, OH. You will manage patient intake, schedule appointments, and maintain medical records while assisting surgeons with Mohs and reconstructive procedures.
Strong communication and HIPAA compliance are essential. Experience in outpatient surgery settings is preferred; dermatology exposure is a plus.

Perform administrative tasks under the direction of multiple physicians to keep the office running smoothly. Administrative duties may include, but are not limited to, answering phone calls, greeting patients, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, transcribing patient visits, calling patients with biopsy results, maintaining pathology log, maintaining MIPS logs related to the diagnosis of Melanoma and the Melanoma Recall System, sending certified letter
Proven competencies/skills: analytical, problem solving, clinical/technical, patient/customer service orientation and bedside manner, interpersonal and written communications, thoroughness and teamwork.
