The Community Health Center of Niagara (CHCN) is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in New York. The LPN will deliver nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
• Performs supportive duties to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Prepares patients for examinations and procedures.
• Prepares examination and procedure rooms.
• Assists providers during examinations and procedures.
• Performs routine diagnostic tests.
• Collects and processes specimens.
• Prepares and administers medications as directed by the healthcare provider.

Salary Status:

Hourly; non-exempt.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of New York.
• Three years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of New York.
• Five years of experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This is a union position with 1199SEIU.

Hourly Rate: $26.32 - $36.77.
