Job summary

Prairie Manor Nursing and Rehab in Chicago Heights is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our care team. This role is full-time and includes a benefits package with health, dental, vision, a 401(k), PTO and more.

In addition to standard duties, LPNs will oversee CNAs, administer medications, document care, and conduct daily rounds to ensure resident safety and comfort. Weekend coverage is required on an alternating basis.

Qualifications

• Valid state LPN license.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with state background check requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct nursing assistants.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Complete accurate resident documentation and charting.
• Conduct daily rounds and prioritize resident care.
