Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Ohio. The role involves direct nursing care for residents, supervising STNAs and other staff, and coordinating with departments to maintain high-quality care.

The LPN will manage charting, medication administration, and daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and facility policies.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of STNAs or other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Provide discipline and evaluations of assigned STNAs and other nursing personnel
• Meet with assigned nursing personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms or charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge
• Encourage attending physicians to review treatment plans, record and sign orders, progress notes, etc.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Verify resident identity before administering medication
• Ensure that prescribed medication for one resident is not administered to another resident
• Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for probationary and annual employee performance evaluations for STNAs
• Lead, educate, counsel, and discipline assigned STNAs, as necessary
• Review resident care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered
• Inform the Nurse Supervisor and/or Unit Manager of any changes that need to be made on the care plan

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals.
