Qualifications

Responsibilities

An Access Medical Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in delivering compassionate, high quality care within our clinic. • Document patient care thoroughly and timely, including changes in condition, services performed, and medications administered.
• Use EMR systems efficiently for clinical and administrative tasks, including entering charges and maintaining up to date patient records.
• Educate and support patients and families by offering health information, guidance, and wellness promotion.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the applicable state; must remain active and in good standing throughout employment.
• Current BLS certification (must stay active while employed).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical equipment/supplies.
• Understanding of basic laboratory procedures, including preparation and screening.
• Knowledge of infectious disease management, safety standards, and proper control measures.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal medical orders accurately.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

What Would Be Great to Have
