Job summary

Liberty Energy in Henderson, Colorado, seeks a LPI Compression Operator I/II/III to operate natural compression units, load posts, and CNG trailers while ensuring safety and cleanliness. The role involves learning filling procedures, troubleshooting, and basic equipment maintenance on CNG trailers and compressors.

The position requires CDL and CNG certification, with preference for hazmat endorsement and oilfield experience.

Qualifications

  • Pass CNG certification from the Railroad Commission of Texas.
  • Maintains class A CDL, preferred.
  • HAZMAT endorsed preferred.
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s).
  • Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s).
  • Natural Gas Measurement (Pressure / Differential Pressure / Temperature).
  • Natural Gas Processing & Field Gas Handling. + Natural Gas Composition / Gas Quality (Heating Value).
  • Knowledge of JT units components (Filters/Heat Exchangers, Separators, JT Valve).
  • Basic Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as they pertain to CNG operations.
  • Operator experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years oilfield experience.
  • Understands process flow.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and operates equipment at the compression site.
  • Checks all fluids and visually inspects equipment prior to start-up.
  • Troubleshoots CNG equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Communicates with Compression Specialist during all aspects of the job.
  • Runs CNG and compressor equipment as required.
  • Remains with the equipment at all times during operation.
  • Performs basic preventative maintenance.
  • Ensures proper LOTO procedures are followed.
  • Inspects units to ensure readiness to fill trailers continuously.
  • Completes inspection forms for each piece of equipment.
  • Walks site to ensure shutdown and lockout of all equipment.
  • Assists in housekeeping before leaving location.

Operating within a team environment, the LPI Compression Operator I/II/III prioritizes safety and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work equipment and trucks.
