Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing Virginia licensure as an LPC to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Lynchburg, VA. The role requires residing within 45 minutes of the office and readiness to work in-office during probation, then switch to a hybrid model.

You will join a clinician-led organization that supports credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing, with a full caseload target within 90 days and flexible scheduling seven days a

• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Virginia.

• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Graduate or Post‑graduate experience in counseling treating depression and anxiety.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnosing under supervision (DSM-5).
• Available for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly.
• Open to treating couples and children.
• Invested in helping clients achieve measurable progress.
• Proficient with telehealth and EHR tools.
• Good teammate and collaborative mindset.

About the Role

We’re hiring licensed clinicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to our more than 175,000 clients across the country.

• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Virginia


• Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location.


• Ability to work in the office for the probationary period and then work a hybrid model (50% in office and 50% remote).


• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program


• Graduate or Post‑graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required


• Graduate or Post‑graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor.


• Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly


• A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children


• Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress


• Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools


• A good teammate - we’re building a clinical community and value positive contributors

Compensation

Up to $53,300 based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities.

Full-time clinicians are eligible for health insurance, student loan repayment assistance, paid time off, and other employer-sponsored benefits.

How We Support You

We handle the administrative work so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care. That means credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support taken care of for you, plus paid orientation and training to get you started. You'll build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, with flexible scheduling available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
