Start by reviewing your schedule, checking for new referrals, and noting any changes in residents’ conditions
Meet with residents throughout the day for brief, focused therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment)
Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing resident
Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns
Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards
Connect with family members when needed and plan your schedule and follow-ups for the next day
