Job summary

Delphi Technologies is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist (LPC/LCSW) to provide short-term therapy for clients with personal injuries. The role focuses on trauma-recovery, emotional healing, and well-being within a limited time frame.

Responsibilities include assessments, evidence-based interventions (CBT, solution-focused, mindfulness), crisis support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Licensure and trauma-focused training are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
• Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues resulting from personal injuries.
• Crisis Intervention: Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support to clients experiencing heightened distress.
• Education and Coping Strategies: Educate clients on the psychological effects of personal injuries and help them develop coping strategies.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Provide timely updates and insights regarding clients’ mental health progress.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Ethical Standards: Safeguard client confidentiality and privacy.

1. Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the psychological impact of personal injuries on clients. Collaborate with clients to develop individualized short-term treatment plans.
2. Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues resulting from personal injuries. Utilize various therapeutic modalities suitable for short-term therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution- focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
3. Crisis Intervention: Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support to clients experiencing heightened distress. Collaborate with emergency services and other relevant professionals when necessary.
4. Education and Coping Strategies: Educate clients on the psychological effects of personal injuries and help them develop coping strategies. Foster resilience and empower clients to manage the emotional challenges associated with their injuries.
5. Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Provide timely updates and insights regarding clients’ mental health progress.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans. Generate comprehensive reports as needed for legal or insurance purposes.
7. Ethical Standards: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in mental health practice. Safeguard client confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications
