Job summary

Thriveworks is a mental health care company expanding across the United States, seeking provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing Michigan licensure as LPCs in Kalamazoo. The role blends telehealth with in-person sessions, with probationary in-office work before transitioning to a 50/50 hybrid schedule.

Candidates should be graduates of accredited 60-credit hour programs, with experience in treating depression and anxiety, conducting intakes, and diagnosing under supervision when possible.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Michigan licensure as LPC.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the Kalamazoo office.
• Hybrid model: 50% in office and 50% remote after probation.
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour counseling program.
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnosing under supervision preferred.
• Able to provide at least 25 sessions weekly with 30 hours of availability.
• Open to treating couples and children.
• Comfortable with telehealth and EHR tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to clients.
• Build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors for clinical quality.
• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development.
