Job summary

Contrarian Thinking LLC in Austin, TX is hiring a head of Investor Relations to own the capital side of the fund: raising it, keeping it, and running the operations behind it. You will drive the LP pipeline from first contact to signed subscription docs and serve as the primary point of contact for our limited partners.

You will coordinate fund operations with our investment, finance, legal, and media teams, and write clear, on-brand communications to build trust and keep partners informed.

Qualifications

• Raised capital and participated in real fundraises.
• Understanding of fund mechanics: capital calls, distributions, subscription documents, LPAs, fund administration, DDQs.
• Digitally native; comfortable with AI-driven workflows and scalable investor outreach.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with partners.
• Clear, precise writing that boosts investor confidence.
• Highly organized with clean systems and processes.
• Ability to represent the brand in both approachable and institutional tones.
• Discreet handling of confidential financial and investor information.
• Ownership mindset; focus on outcomes and building the fund, not just administration.
