Job summary

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Northern OH is seeking outdoor lighting installers to install low-voltage residential lighting systems. No electrical experience required; training provided. Health, vision, dental, and retirement benefits are provided.

Full-time, four-day workweeks, overtime, and commission opportunities available. Ideal candidates will install lights, mount transformers, and engage with customers to upsell services while maintaining inventory and vehicle care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Varied technical and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble lights and mount them in prescribed locations.
• Speak with the customer to upsell other products.
• Provide customers with system orientation as applicable.
• Proper care and operation of company vehicles.
• Ensure there are proper inventory levels.
• Run and bury low-voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns.
• Mount transformers and connect wire runs.
• Clean up of all areas affected by the installation.
• Provide direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable.
• Inform clients about additional products and services available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
• Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
• Provide customers with system orientation as applicable
• Proper care and operation of company vehicles
• Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
• Running and burying low-voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
• Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
• Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
• Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
• Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
• Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
