Abraham Joshua Heschel School in New York City seeks a permanent Lower School substitute teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time exempt position that follows the standard departmental five day schedule.

You may be assigned to one classroom for the day or rotate between classrooms as needed, however, you may be asked to step in to assist other duties as needed. Attendance at a weekly faculty meeting and lunch/recess coverage are also required.

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree required.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
