Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist students during teacher-directed whole group, small group, and individualized instruction.
• Monitor and support students during independent work and cooperative learning activities.
• Provide student follow-up and review after instruction.
• Prepare educational materials and clerical tasks for instructional activities.
• Provide accommodations as documented in individualized plans with guidance from teachers.
• Assist in monitoring student behavior and providing positive reinforcement.
• Serve as a classroom substitute if needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Demonstrate dependability and integrity.
• Assist with lunchroom, carpool and other duties as assigned.
• Be an active member of the lower school and support school-wide initiatives.
