Job Overview

Responsible for planning and executing delivery activities, preparing loads, following routes, and assisting with merchandise installations or returns. Tasks include unloading, installing, and checking appliances and store equipment. Maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety standards, complies with DOT regulations, Hazmat, and power equipment safety, and holds necessary certifications.

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute delivery routes.
2. Prepare delivery loads.
3. Assist with merchandise installations and returns.
4. Unload and install appliances and store equipment.
5. Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and safety.
6. Observe safety procedures and comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Job Requirements

• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week.
• Physical ability to move large, bulky, or heavy merchandise.
• Prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B license with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months forklift or Moffett operation experience.
• 1 year of driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
