Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a Fabricator to configure and operate CNC press brake equipment to shape aluminum parts used in boats. You will set up tooling, start machines, monitor operations, and verify parts meet specifications in a safety-focused environment.

In this role, you’ll contribute to quality fabrication, maintain equipment, and collaborate with a skilled Lowe Boats team. Competitive pay and strong benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Previous fabrication experience preferred.

Position Overview:

As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as a Fabricator, you will be responsible for configuring and operating CNC Press Brake equipment to shape materials used to build aluminum boats. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Essential Functions:

• Operate CNC press brake machine to bend parts according to specifications
• Set up, operate, and/or tend press brake to bend aluminum material.
• Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
• Load, install and correctly set up the tooling required.
• Examine completed work pieces for defects.
• Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.
• Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable.

Required Qualifications:

• Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness
• Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in fabrication preferred

Working Conditions:

• May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area
• Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs
• Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis.
• PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.05 - $19.25, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for 2% annual productivity bonus.
