Job summary

Encore Pipe & Construction in Midland, TX is looking for a full-time on-site Lowboy & Flatbed Driver to haul heavy equipment, pipe and materials across the Permian Basin. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and secure loads according to DOT safety standards.

Coordinate with dispatch and field teams to ensure timely deliveries, complete load documentation, and represent the company professionally on job sites.

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lowboy & Flatbed Driver role located in Midland, TX. The driver will safely operate lowboy and flatbed trucks to haul heavy equipment, pipe, and materials to and from job sites in the Permian Basin and surrounding areas. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads according to DOT and company safety standards, and maintaining accurate delivery and load documentation. The role involves coordinating closely with dispatch, field supervisors, and yard teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, as well as following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. The driver will also help with basic equipment checks, report maintenance needs, and represent Encore Pipe & Construction professionally when interacting with customers and job site personnel.

Qualifications

• Strong truck operation skills, including experience with commercial truck driving and safe handling of lowboy and flatbed equipment.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, supervisors, and field crews.
• Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and site personnel.
• Ability to perform load securement, basic vehicle inspections, and routine maintenance checks.
• Previous experience hauling heavy equipment or working in pipeline, construction, or oil and gas transportation is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of climbing, lifting, and securing loads.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; commitment to safety training and adherence to company safety standards is required.
