Job summary

A well-established transport company in Burnsville is looking for an experienced Lowboy Driver. The driver will operate a heavy-duty truck for transporting materials off-road and assist with Dump Truck operations. Candidates must have at least 1-3 years of heavy-duty truck driving experience and knowledge of construction techniques. This full-time role requires availability for on-call shifts as needed, emphasizing safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of heavy-duty truck driving experience.
• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the truck for any defective items at the beginning and end of each work day per DOT requirements.
• Prepare a daily driver’s log book per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-start-up inspections of road tractors and equipment.
• Maintain a current commercial driver’s license and medical card.
• Complete all required documents and submit to the dispatcher each workday.
