Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Los Angeles. You will lead projects from concept to completion, installing fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and related systems at commercial sites. Strong communication and code knowledge are essential for success.

Hours are 7am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday, with company car and gas card provided. This role offers growth opportunities in a growing, family‑owned security and fire‑protection firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in Security, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control.
• Proven experience in fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and/or NEC.
• Reading and Interpreting Construction Plans
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal codes
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a variety of complex projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct installations for commercial businesses locally during work hours.
• Provide excellent customer support and ensure safety compliance.

Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing a variety of complex projects from conception to completion.

Hours: 7am to 330pm

Days: Monday-Friday

Job Requirements

• Requires strong interpersonal skills, along with effective writing, speaking and presentation skills
• Reading and Interpreting Construction Plans
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal codes required
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control
• Proficient in MS Office along with some Networking experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and/or NEC.
