Job summary

Per Mar Security is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to install, test, troubleshoot and maintain electronic security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV video surveillance, access control and intrusion systems, for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

This fully onsite Urbandale, IA role requires experience with low-voltage wiring, system commissioning, alarm programming and strong customer service, with independence and a commitment to high workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage wiring and system commissioning.
• NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level I or II preferred.
• Experience with DMP, Resideo, ProdataKey (PDK) and OpenEye platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot and maintain electronic security systems.
• Provide service for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform wiring, programming and commissioning with quality workmanship.
