Job summary

Avante Technologies in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced low voltage technician to install CCTV, access control, cameras, network cabling and related systems across Southern California.

You should have hands-on low voltage experience, own tools, and familiarity with cabling and termination standards. Travel to sites in LA County and beyond may be required. We value reliability, teamwork, and the ability to pass background checks for government work.

Qualifications

• Experience with low voltage work and related terminology.
• Own tools and reliable approach to job sites.
• Familiarity with CAT6 terminations and mounting devices.
• Background check clearance for government-related work.
• Willingness to travel within Southern California as required.
• Basic networking understands cameras and access control systems.

Avante Technologies is hiring for an experienced low voltage technician. We install most low voltage technologies besides alarms. We do cameras, access control, structured cabling, fiber optics, data, PA systems etc...

• Experience with low voltage work
• Has own tools
• Familiar with low voltage terminology
• Willing to learn
• Works well with others
• Reliable, prompt
• Can pass a background check (we do government work)
• Familiar with cat6 cable pulling and terminations
• Familiar with mounting devices such as cameras, TVs, WAPs
• Willing to travel when needed (most work is in LA County, but we do travel within CA)
• Access control door hardware install experience is a plus
• Programming knowledge of access control, cameras, networks is a plus
