Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Security Technician to install, maintain, and service electronic security systems in commercial and data center environments.

You will configure CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems; perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot issues; and provide clear client communication while adhering to safety protocols and documenting service reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic security installation and service.
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV/IP cameras, alarm systems, and basic networking.
• OSHA 30 Certification and Aerial Lift Training are required.
• Proficiency with multimeters, cable testers, power tools, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion/alarm systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure systems operate at optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues; replace defective components and update firmware/configurations.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and installation standards.
• Provide client-facing support, including basic system training and clear communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, checklists, and job closeouts.
• Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures.
