Job summary

APTURA Group is seeking a Low Voltage Electronics Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of low voltage systems including alarm and access control. You will work across diverse job sites, from construction sites to existing facilities, ensuring safety standards and timely completion.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues via field visits, designing layouts per client specs, and leveraging remote access tools for monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in low voltage installations or related fields is required.
  • Familiarity with locksmith techniques is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using remote access software for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles related to low voltage applications.
  • Experience with field service operations, demonstrating the ability to work independently in various environments.

Job Summary- The Low Voltage Electronics Technician provides excellent customer service by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of electronic systems. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of alarm systems, remote access software, and other low voltage applications.

The Low Voltage Electronics Technician is responsible and accountable for-

  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including electrical door hardware, alarm systems and access control systems per scope of work and customer requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to build and modify system components.
  • Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues with existing installations and provide solutions.
  • Design system layouts based on client specifications and requirements.
  • Detect faults in wiring or equipment and implement necessary repairs or replacements.
