Job summary

Refrigeration Systems Construction & Service (RSCS) and Mechanic Refrigeration Company (MRC) seek experienced Low-Temperature Refrigeration Service Technicians to service and troubleshoot ammonia and freon systems in customer facilities. You will work on-site across diverse facilities with a collaborative team.

Candidates should have 5+ years in the field, be comfortable with travel and on-call work, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low-temperature refrigeration service
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and commercial freon/rack systems
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call rotation

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and commercial freon systems in customer facilities
• Replace mechanical seals on pumps and compressors
• Perform motor alignments
• Diagnose and work with electrical systems and controls
• Troubleshoot and service multiple brands of equipment and control systems
• Perform start-ups for ammonia refrigeration systems
• Work independently on-site and resolve issues when operators are unable to

Refrigeration Systems Construction & Service (RSCS) and Mechanic Refrigeration Company (MRC) are a commercial and industrial refrigeration construction and service team with 25+ years in business and operations across 10 states. We’re hiring Low-Temperature Refrigeration Service Technicians who enjoy solving problems, working on a variety of low-temp refrigeration and HVAC-R systems, and collaborating within a strong team environment.

What you’ll do

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and commercial freon systems in customer facilities
